I have recently visited the East National Park in the Dominican Republic. The park is filled with stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and various activities for visitors to enjoy. The East National Park is a beautiful place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime.
The scenery is breathtaking, and there are many different animals to see. There are also plenty of things to do in the park so you won’t be bored for a minute. I highly recommend taking a trip to the East National Park if you ever have the chance!

Location
The National Park of the East in the Dominican Republic is a popular tourist destination. The park covers 161 acres and can be found on the country’s eastern side. There are 75 square miles. 93 sq km. The park features a variety of landscapes, including beaches, forests, mountains, and rivers.
The peninsula, Catalina Island, and Saona island make up the parking area. There are 63 square miles. There is 43 sq km on the island. 12 square miles. 50 sq km.
The national park is an essential representation of the island’s biodiversity. With tropical forests, sandy beaches, and limestone landscapes, it creates a fantastic place of tropical wilderness that is perfect for exploring and enjoying the natural world. Visiting Parque Nacional Del Este
The Parque Parque del Este is found in the southeastern tip of the Dominican Republic. Since 1975, the protected nature reserve has been observed. The park can be reached on foot from Bayahibe or by a short drive from La Romana town. Its stunning natural beauty is the crown jewel of the southeastern coast.
The land and sea are encompassed in reserve. A 2-kilometer (1-mile) trail can be taken to explore the dry forest of the land component of the account. The Sendero del Padre Nuestro is a 24-mile trail that leads to Padre Nuestro.
Parque Nacional del Este, located in the southeastern region of the Dominican Republic, is a great place to go and see some of the incredible Tano caves.

Even for those less interested in hardcore caving, rocky nature, enough shelters, such as the Cueva del Puente, can be explored on foot. The cave has a rich history and is full of unique rock formations that are sure to amaze.
A freshwater spring or Manantial is located in the underground wet cave of Cueva de Chicho. Many Tano petroglyphs can be found around this time of year.
Open Water and Advanced Divers can dive between 30 and 100 feet of water with Caribbean creatures, stalactite, and stalagmite formations. These deeper waters offer divers the opportunity to see a wider variety of marine life and some of the most incredible geological formations in any dive destination.

You must be accompanied by a licensed guide to tour the park’s various areas, including the trail and the islands. The park’s manuals are available at both entrances (from the Boca de Yuma side or Bayahibe) and with the profitable protected area.
It should be noted that camping is not permitted in the park. The best way to tour the sea portion of the park is to hop on a boat excursion with one of the tour companies in Bayahibe. These boat tours will give you an up close and personal look at all the underwater wonders this national park offers.
If you can spare the time or are a cave diver, add the Padre Nuestro Trail to your itinerary. The western entrance to the park office is in Bayahibe, and that’s where you’ll need to go if you’re driving.
The entrance to the park can also be conveniently reached by taxi or on foot from downtown Bayahibe. If you are from the east, the door is located at Boca de Yuma, and you must travel by car.

This park is truly a nature lover’s paradise, with its abundance of flora and fauna.
